Projected Accrual and Distribution Rates of the City of Grinnell
This study illustrates the amounts and rate at which the various projects within the proposed City of Grinnell Reinvestment District will accrue distributions from the Reinvestment Fund Account (RFA) over a 20-year planning horizon.
A project team made up of The City of Grinnell, Poweshiek Iowa Development (POW I-80), and Grinnell College hired Decision Innovation Solutions to produce a Feasibility Study and Economic Development Impact Study. These studies were used in the application projects of the Iowa Reinvestment District Program.
The completion of this application helped The City of Grinnell secure the funds to work on additional projects.
Additionally, DIS created and managed a collaborative work environment using its Office 365 and SharePoint Online site.
This additional feature allowed all co-authors to work on the application together. By enabling real-time collaboration, this feature fostered better communication, reduced error risk, and accelerated the development process.
